 Ira Basen is a longtime CBC Radio producer. His credits include: Sunday Morning, Quirks and Quarks, This Morning, The Inside Track, and Workology. He is the co-author of Canadian Edition of The Book of Lists (Knopf 2005) and his book about public relations and the media will be published next year.
 John Gray has worked for a number of Canadian newspapers. Most recently, he spent more than 20 years with the Globe and Mail, where he served as Ottawa bureau chief, national editor, foreign editor, foreign correspondent and national correspondent. He is the author of Paul Martin, The Power of Ambition.
 Karin Marley worked as a researcher-reporter for Maclean's magazine after graduating with an MA in literature from the University of London. She has written for the Globe and Mail, Toronto Life, Bust magazine and various other publications.
 Robert Sheppard is a longtime student of Canadian politics who has been covering federal and provincial elections in this country since the late 1970s. A former daily columnist (The Provinces) with the Globe and Mail, he was more recently senior editor at Maclean's magazine.
