All six members of the previous cabinet were re-elected in their ridings as the Yukon Party returned to the legislature with a majority government.
- Dennis Fentie (Watson Lake), who was premier, the minister of finance and environment, and looked after youth, devolution and land claims when the house was dissolved.
- Archie Lang (Porter Creek Centre), responsible for energy, mines and resources; Yukon Development Corporation; Yukon Energy Corporation.
- Glenn Hart (Riverdale South), who held the portfolios of community services; highways and public service.
- Jim Kenyon (Porter Creek North), who held the portfolios of economic development; Yukon Liquor Corporation; Yukon Housing Corporation; lottery commission.
- Elaine Taylor (Whitehorse West), who was deputy premier; public service; tourism and culture; justice; education; Women's Directorate.
- Brad Cathers (Lake Laberge), who was minister of health and social services; also responsible for Workers' Compensation, Health and Safety Board.
Former justice and education minister John Edzerza was also re-elected to the house, although this time as an NDP MLA.
Edzerza resigned from cabinet and the caucus on Aug. 2, then finished the legislative session by sitting as an Independent. Edzerza had been the only aboriginal member of the former Yukon Party government.
