Midfielder Amado Guevara is among eight players Toronto FC left unprotected for Wednesday's Major League Soccer expansion draft.

The former most valuable player joins two-time league MVP Carl Robinson, Canadian international Ali Gerba, backup goalkeeper Brian Edwards and Pablo Vitti on a list of players the Philadelphia Union can select.

Teams can only lose one player in the draft.

Toronto FC defenders Lesly Fellinga and Nick Garcia and midfielder Gabe Gala were also left unprotected.
