Man shot in head in east Toronto

A young man has been rushed to hospital after being shot in the head in Toronto's east end Wednesday afternoon.

The shooting occurred on Benjamin Boulevard, near Kennedy Road and Eglinton Avenue East.

The man is believed to be in his 20s. It's not immediately clear if his injuries are life-threatening.

One suspect was arrested just before 4 p.m. at the Kennedy subway station. Police believe there are up to four more suspects on the loose.

Benjamin Boulevard has been cordoned off as police investigate.
