Noel Gallagher plays at the 2008 Virgin Music Festival. (Dwight Friesen/CBC) A November court date has been set for a man charged with attacking Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher at Toronto's Virgin festival.
Daniel Sullivan, 47, of Pickering, Ont., appeared briefly in court Friday before having further hearings put off to Nov. 25.
He was charged with assault in relation to the incident.
At the Toronto concert in September, a man ran onto the stage and pushed Gallagher from behind as he played the song (What's the Story) Morning Glory.
Gallagher fell against the speakers and was later found to have three broken and dislodged ribs.
Oasis had to postpone a performance in London, Ont., to Dec. 15 after the attack.
