Police are searching for answers after finding a young Toronto woman's body in a garbage bag in the city's west end.
Trash collectors discovered the bag on Friday morning while picking up garbage outside a housing complex on John Garland Boulevard, near the corner of Finch Avenue and Martin Grove Road in Etobicoke.
Police later confirmed the body was that of Yasmin Ashareh, 20. An autopsy showed she died from multiple stab wounds to the neck.

Investigators believe the body may have been placed in the bag several days before it was discovered, possibly as early as last Monday.
They do not believe Ashareh was stabbed to death in the same location where her body was found.
Ashareh lived in the area and had been working at a nearby grocery store for the past few weeks, but had not been reported missing.
Detectives are looking to speak to anyone who may have come in contact with the woman before her death.
