Autopsy results on the body of a Barrie, Ont., teen found three weeks after he ran away from home reveal he died of injuries to his chest.
Brandon Crisp, 15, is shown here in an undated family photo. (Barrie Examiner/Canadian Press) A post-mortem examination on Brandon Crisp, conducted at Ontario's Office of the Chief Coroner in Toronto, shows the injuries are consistent with falling from a tree.
Dental records confirmed the body found by hunters Wednesday in a wooded area north of Barrie was that of the 15-year-old.
Police released the information on Saturday after giving the findings to his family the previous night.
Investigators had ruled out foul play.
Brandon's parents said he fled home following a dispute with them over his obsessive Xbox video-gaming habits.
