Anti-Olympic groups make case in Vancouver

It was the final day of the team's visit to Vancouver and the opponents of the games had 20 minutes to make their case.
But Chris Shaw of the No Games 2010 Coalition says he believes they got their message across.

Olympic bid organizers played down the significance of the meeting.
Some analysts say they don't expect it to have much influence on the IOC decision about where to hold the games.
Ed Hula, who writes for a U.S.-based Olympic magazine, predicts the meeting will have little impact because Vancouver has already demonstrated strong public support.
But he says Olympic supporters are worried anyway.
"They are really afraid or were afraid this week of possible embarrassments this group would cause them," he said.
The anti-Olympic group warned the evaluation team that Vancouver's bid comes at the same time that the provincial Liberal government is making major cuts to social spending.
