They will be sitting on the opposite side of the legislature, but most members of the NDP cabinet will be returning despite a Saskatchewan Party majority.
Fifteen former NDP ministers were re-elected in their home ridings, while three were defeated.

Eighteen members of the 19-minister NDP cabinet were running for re-election. Deputy premier Clay Serby announced before the election call that he is not running in his Yorkton riding because he is battling cancer.
