Saskatchewan says it will open vaccination clinics to everyone, starting next Monday. (CBC)Everyone in Saskatchewan will be able to be vaccinated against the H1N1 flu, starting Nov. 23.
The province announced Thursday that all health regions are planning clinics to open to the general public early in the week, beginning Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.
"Please remember these clinics will be open through to mid-December," Dr. Saqib Shahab, Saskatchewan's deputy chief medical health officer, said in the announcement. "So there is plenty of time for people to get their vaccination."
The provincial health ministry said it was expecting delivery Monday of 66,500 doses of H1N1 vaccine.
Including those, the province said a total of 386,900 doses will have been received.
When the latest batch of vaccine is used, it will mean approximately 40 per cent of Saskatchewan's population will have been vaccinated.
