A man riding a motorcycle was killed in a traffic accident Monday afternoon in Regina.

Just before 5 p.m., the motorcycle crashed into a car at the intersection of Sherwood Drive and Pasqua Street in the city's northwest area, Regina city police said.

The northbound car, which was driven by an 18-year-old woman, was turning west at the intersection when it was struck on the passenger side by the southbound motorcycle, police said.

Police haven't identified the man who died, but they said he's from Regina.

The driver of the car wasn't injured.

No charges have been laid, but police continue to investigate the incident. They're asking anyone with information to give them a call.
