About 140,000 Quebec residents still need to register or update their information by the March 13 deadline if they plan to vote in the provincial election, said elections director Marcel Blanchet.
Elections Quebec has mailed out 3.6 million registration cards to allow voters to revise their status.
Voters who want to change their information must hand in their registration card at their local election office, indicated on the card sent by mail.
Cards can be dropped off Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET, and on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET.
Elections Quebec requires voters to bring two pieces of identification to change their voting profile — one with their name and date of birth, and a second with their name and address.
For the first time, officials with Elections Quebec are visiting senior citizens' homes to pick up voter cards.
Voters can consult the election site for more information, or can call 1-888-ELECTION. The hard-of-hearing and deaf can call 1-800-537-0644.
A second revision period will take place between March 14-22 to allow voters who missed the first deadline.
