A man and three children were unhurt Monday night when a gunman fired on their house in Glace Bay, Cape Breton Regional Police say.
The shooting at 182 West Ave. happened just before 11 p.m.
None of the four people in the home at the time, a man and three children, were hurt, police said. Few other details are known.
Staff Sgt. Mike Kennedy would not say what type of gun used.
"It is still under investigation and we can't disclose that at this time," he said Tuesday.
A man wearing dark clothing and a hooded sweater was seen running from the area. Kennedy said the shooter was on foot but left the scene in a grey or silver SUV.
Anyone with information is asked to call Cape Breton Regional Police or Crime Stoppers.
