N.S. mom finds razor blade in Halloween apple

RCMP are urging parents to inspect their children's Halloween candy after a mother in Nova Scotia discovered a razor blade hidden in an apple her child received.

The child had been trick-or-treating in Melvern Square in Eastern Annapolis County and in the Ravenwood subdivision in Kingston, police said.

The apple and blade were handed over to police, who are investigating.
