Gas around 90 cents a litre? Get ready for it.
CBC News projects the price of a litre of self-serve gasoline in Halifax will be just above 90 cents on Friday, when the province sets weekly pump prices.
Currently, gas is selling in Halifax for 97 cents a litre. The price is slightly higher outside the city.
Nova Scotia drivers haven't seen gas at around 90 cents in two years.
The province sets gas prices at 12:01 a.m. every Friday. However, it can interrupt the cycle to lower or raise prices if the world market price swings dramatically.
Drivers in New Brunswick, where the price of gas is also regulated, woke up Thursday to find the maximum retail price for self-serve set at 90.8 cents a litre.
