RCMP investigators were on the scene of a fatal single-vehicle crash on the north coast of central Newfoundland overnight Thursday.
Police said a 17-year-old male was driving a pickup truck around 11 p.m. when it left the road and rolled over.
The teenager was partially ejected from the truck, police said, and firefighters had to be called in to remove him from the wreck.
He was rushed to the hospital in Baie Verte, about 30 kilometres away, where police said he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
