Albert is no longer in the province, but he spent four days making private trips to Moncton, St. Andrews and Fredericton. The prince attended no public events while in the province.
Albert became ruler of the principality of Monaco in 2005 after his father Prince Rainier died.
Monaco is one of the smallest countries in the world at only two square kilometres and borders on France.
