Winnipeg's 100th Santa Claus parade is set to wind its way through downtown streets Saturday, beginning at 5 p.m.
The parade route begins at Portage Avenue and Young Street and ends up at The Forks.
Prior to the parade, beginning at 4 p.m., a number of block parties are planned.
Parade manager Ron Mark told CBC News that the main attraction is looking forward to the event.
"I was talking to Santa a little earlier today," Mark said Saturday morning. "He was a little concerned we didn't have any snow or a little colder weather but he said he'll still enjoy himself."
This year's parade features over 100 entries, including 70 floats.
The event will wrap up with a fireworks display around 7 p.m.
