Woman stabbed in downtown Winnipeg

An early-morning stabbing in Winnipeg on Wednesday sent a woman to hospital.

It happened around 1 a.m. inside a suite in the 300 block of Young Street in the city's downtown area, police said.

The victim is in stable condition.

The investigation is continuing.
