CBC News
A man wanted for allegedly stabbing two people on Manitoba's Rolling River First Nation earlier this month has been arrested.
The RCMP announced late Tuesday night that they had located and arrested David Conrad French, 25.
On Tuesday morning, the police issued a news release asking for the public's help in finding him. An arrest warrant was also issued for French, a suspect in an Oct. 17 stabbing on the reserve, about 250 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg.
Two people were sent to hospital with severe injuries.
French is now in police custody and has been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.
The RCMP did not say where he was located.
