One person is dead and a suspect has been charged after a multiple stabbing on the Bushe River Reserve in northern Alberta, High Level RCMP said Friday.
After being called to a house on the reserve about 800 kilometres northwest of Edmonton on Wednesday around 8:20 p.m., police said they found three people suffering from stab wounds. One of them later died in hospital.
A man, 36, was taken into custody with the help of a police dog. He has been charged with second-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.
