People living in Mill Creek woke up Sunday morning to find graffiti sprayed on houses, cars and dumpsters throughout the neighbourhood.
A four-block area between 82nd and 84th avenues and 94th and 98th streets, was targeted.
Ivana Ivancic-Barry surveys the damage done to her home by someone who spray-painted graffiti on the front window in the early hours following Halloween. (CBC) "I was quite shocked to see that someone had [put graffiti] all over our house. At first I thought it ... was a little bit frightening but when I came outside there were some neighbours walking around and I spoke to them and apparently there was some graffiti on quite a few houses down the street," Ivana Ivancic-Barry said Sunday.
Edmonton police report graffiti was sprayed on 18 homes and properties, six cars, and on signs and dumpsters in the neighbourhood.
The Moravian Church was also sprayed. Pastor Judith Ganz said it was probably just young people playing Halloween tricks.
"It's a shame that when kids have fun or whoever has fun, they have to desecrate property as well because that's really not needed when you are having a good time." Ganz said.
Police have no suspects.
