Police are looking for the body of Jeffery Dykhuizen, 44, from Smoky Lake, Alta. who was reported missing on May 12, 2008. RCMP believe he was killed on May 3. (RCMP) A second man has been charged in the death of Jeffery Dykhuizen, 44, who disappeared in May from his home in Little Smoky, 300 kilometres northwest of Edmonton.
A 19-year-old man from Fox Creek was charged Wednesday with being accessory after the fact to murder in connection with Dykhuizen's death, RCMP said Thursday.
Dykhuizen's 41-year-old neighbour was charged with first degree murder in June.
Dykhuizen, whose body has yet to be found, last had contact with his family and friends on May 3, RCMP said.
He was reported missing on May 12, and a day later, his partly burned truck was discovered on a road halfway between Fox Creek and Whitecourt.
Investigators continue to look for Dykhuizen's body and his missing 2002 Westwind travel trailer.
