Thieves likely targeted a man who was legally allowed to grow marijuana in his home, say Alberta RCMP.
The man, who is allowed to grow marijuana for medical purposes, was alone at his Camrose-area acreage on Oct. 31, just after midnight, when two men in black ski masks broke into his home.
"Once inside, the two males assaulted and forcibly confined the lone male occupant. The two males then removed a large amount of medicinal legally permitted marijuana plants from the home and departed stealing the victims vehicle," Camrose police said in a press release.
Police are looking for a white 2002 Dodge Dakota containing a 490 litre water tank in the back.
