911 caller leads police to body in Surrey

Police found the body in the backyard of a house between Currie Drive and Bedford Drive. (CBC)Homicide investigators have been called in after a man's body was found in the backyard of a suburban home in north Surrey, B.C., early Wednesday morning.
RCMP received an anonymous 911 call reporting an injured male somewhere on 115 Avenue, shortly before 2 a.m. When officers arrived they searched the neighbourhood, located just southwest of the Port Mann Bridge and found nothing, so they left.
About 90 minutes later, police received a second 911 call with more details and returned and found the body of an unidentified man in the backyard of a house between Currie Drive and Bedford Drive.
Integrated Homicide Investigation Team spokesman Cpl. Dale Carr said police have yet to determine the cause of death, but they are hoping the person who called 911 will contact them to provide more information.
