Two men suffered gunshot wounds in a shooting that happened before noon Wednesday in Burnaby, B.C., and police are still trying to determine the number of suspects involved.
Burnaby RCMP are investigating how two men came to be shot in the 3,500 block of Smith Avenue Wednesday morning.

Burnaby RCMP spokeswoman Cpl. Alexandra Mulvihill said police are investigating the shootings in the 3,500 block of Smith Street at around 11:30 a.m.
Police have not identified the two injured men but said they're in their 20s. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, Mulvihill said.
"I can confirm that there has been shots fired and one injured party was taken from this location to hospital," she told CBC News.
Police have no information on the weapon used or the number of suspects involved, she said.
"At this time we are not in a position to give a suspect description. We are still trying to determine the number of suspects we may be looking for and exactly what their descriptions may be."
Investigators are interviewing witnesses and are trying to determine the events that led up to the shooting.
This shooting is believed to be an isolated incident and there's no concern for public safety, Mulvihill said.
