She's A Boy I Knew (Canada, 2007)

First Revew: Carpenter A., Vancouver
A very powerful documentary about a personal struggle and journey from Steve to Gwen.

The film maker documents the journey through her own narrative and through the eyes of family, spouse and close friends. The story's emotional impact is heightened by the honesty of the parents and the impact of the life change made by Gwen upon them.

This is not your typical " talking heads" style documentary.
