Visualizing the Party Platforms

What's this? It's called a tag cloud. It creates a visualization of the most common words used in a piece of text - the more often the word is used, the larger it appears in the graphic.

We pulled in the platforms of the major political parties to produce the "clouds" you see here. The aim is to give you a new perspective on each party's campaign message. You'll notice one of the largest, and therefore most used words in the NDP tag cloud, is actually Campbell. In fact, it's even larger than the word James! Interesting? Yes. Complicated? No. So get your head into these clouds for a fresh look at where the parties stand.
