Fiercely loyal to his brother with whom he has shared everything since childhood, Kay encourages Arthur to take up his destiny as King of Britain. As the king's Marshal - the supreme force of law in the Kingdom - Kay has the freedom to become his own man, but will always remain Arthur's older brother and closest friend.
Peter Mooney portrays Kay, brother to King Arthur, in the original series "Camelot."
Mooney's recent television credits include starring on the hit television series "Falcon Beach" (ABC Family/Global) for two seasons, "CSI: Miami" (CBS), "Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars" (Disney Channel), "Being Erica" (CBC TV), "The Murdoch Mysteries" (Shaftesbury Films), "12 Men of Christmas" (Fox/Lifetime) and the television miniseries "ZOS: Zone of Security" (TMN). His film credits include Summer's Blood where he starred opposite Ashley Greene and the television movie The Tower (CBS/Paramount).
Mooney has headlined several stage productions at Manitoba Theatre Centre including "Jitters," "Pride and Prejudice," "Our Town" and "The Tempest." Other theatre credits include "Tales from Ovid" ( Centaur Theatre) and the Canadian premier of "The Goat or Who Is Sylvia?" (Great Canadian Theatre Company). This winter Mooney will star in "After Miss Julie" at Manitoba Theatre Centre.
A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Mooney graduated from the prestigious National Theatre School of Canada in 2004.
