Next mission:
CBC Little Free Library Building BEE
When: Sunday June 23rd, 2013
Where: CBC 1724 Westmount Blvd NW
time: 11am - 3pm
This is our CBC Little Free Library, we love it!
I'm rounding up another CBC Do Crew for a Little Free Library Building Bee. Little Free Libraries are a great way to encourage literacy and build great communities. It's a simple idea you can leave a book or take a book ...or both.
Our goal is to build 5 LFL's that can then be autioned off to support local community associations.
I need 10 volunteers who aren't afraid to get creative and a little dirty. Please wear your "best" painting clothes.
Thanks to Kathryn Audet, Store Manager for the Marlborough Home Depot for donating our lumber, plexiglass & paint. Any extra supplies you could bring along, paint trays, brushes, dropcloths, extra paint in bright colours, etc. would be much appreciated. (If you are bringing paint it needs to be exterior latex paint.anything else won't stand up.)
If you have a few hours to volunteer with me on Sunday email docrew@cbc.ca
