Albertans have been grumbling at liquor stores ever since prices went up in April.
The province is now taking in an extra $1.30 on a dozen beer, 75 cents for wine, and $2.89 for most spirits. So is Alberta, with its privately owned liquor stores, still a cheap place to stock up on suds?
CBC-TV reporter Peter Akman called stores across Canada to compare the price of a 12-pack of Labatt Blue in bottles.
