"Memoirs of the English-Speaking Community," Quebec City book launch
Last week in Quebec City, and tomorrow in Thetford Mines, a book of memoirs was launched. Written by Secondary 4 students from Quebec High School, St-Patrick's High School, and A.S. Johnson, over 30 English-language seniors told their stories to some 60 students. The result is a book of living history called Memoirs of English-Speaking Community: Bridging Generations in Quebec City and the Chaudière-Appalaches Region. Jacquie was at the Quebec City book launch and spoke with some of the participants.
