Life ring from the Titanic on Île d'Orléans
The only known life ring from the Titanic's deck now rests on Île d'Orléans. Capt. Michel Pouliot's grand-father, Capt. François-Xavier Pouliot, was at the helm of one of the ships sent out to retrieve victims from the Titanic disaster.
