The Bella Desgagnés on its way up the coast

Coasters Association marks 25 years

MV Apollo finally makes it to Blanc Sablon

mvapollo-jan6.jpgThe MV Apollo (pictured left) regularly services passengers crossing from Corner Brook, Newfoundland to Quebec's Lower North Shore. But heavy ice had prevented the ferry from crossing, since January 2. This left many frustrated passengers stranded in Corner Brook, not to mention suppliers running out of fresh food supplies. Jacquie reached Perry Barney, owner of Chez Barney's, just as the MV Apollo docked in Blanc Sablon on Friday evening.
