As you've heard in the news, Angelina Jolie revealed she had a preventive double mastectomy after learning she carried a gene that made it extremely likely she would get breast cancer. After genetic testing, she learned she carries the BRCA1 gene and had an 87 per cent chance of getting the disease herself. It's the same operation that Quebec City's Ann McBryde will undertake in a few months, because she too has the gene. Ann and her husband Bob (pictured left) talk about how they came to this difficult decision. 
He has seen Everest so bottlenecked, it lead to disaster. It's a mountain he's climbed no less than eight times, and now he's talking about some of the issues at stake in the world of commercial climbing. Dr. Rob Casserely showed his breath-taking photos Tuesday evening at the Morrin Centre. From England, he now lives in St-Romuald with his wife, Marie-Kristelle Ross, originally from Sept-Iles.

A major tourist attraction on the North Shore has been... put on ice. The glacier interpretation centre - Jardin des Glaciers - in Baie-Comeau closed this week. The town says it was losing too much money, but the manager says the town will be losing a huge investment.
