Nova Scotia

You can find the highest tides in the world in the Bay of Fundy, and the cuisine of the land offers readers the same dramatic experience. Mainstreet PEI host Karen Mair put together a panel of Maritime culinary experts to recommend the best cookbooks from the East Coast. Chef Alain Bosse represented Nova Scotia.

Alain Bosse, better known as the Kilted Chef, is currently president of Alain Bosse Consulting Ltd, the food editor for Saltscapes Magazine and a past president of Taste of Nova Scotia. The renowned local food champion is about to lead a team from Nova Scotia to cook for Canada House in London for Canada Day and will cook for Jamie Oliver's 15 restaurant.
