Finalists for the 2014 CBC Poetry Prize announced

Congratulations to Laurie D. Graham of London, Ontario; Basma Kavanagh of Brandon, Manitoba; Cynthia Woodman Kerkham of Victoria, British ColumbiaDavid Martin of Calgary, Alberta; and Alessandra Naccarato of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Grand Prize winner
The Grand Prize winner was announced on Monday, September 22. The winner is David Martin of Calgary, Alberta. His poem "Tar Swan" was selected from more than 2,500 works received from across the country. Congratulations David! 


The jury for this year's prize was composed of writers Roy MikiRachel Rose and Katherena Vermette
