Blue Metropolis 2014

CBC Books showcases literary stars at Montreal's Blue Metropolis

Montreal's annual literary festival, Blue Metropolis, closed on Sunday, and CBC Books and Canada Writes were there capturing the best of the Fest.

George Elliott Clarke, Lisa Moore, Alix Ohlin, Heather O'Neill, Luis Alberto Urrea, Pulitzer Prize winner Richard Ford and dozens of others enchanted book lovers in Montreal as part of the Blue Metropolis Literary Festival. (Not to mention Scaredy Squirrel, who headlined the amazing kids' festival.)

The CBC Blue events offered up some captivating authors up close and in person, not to mention CBC personalities like Shelagh Rogers, Paul Kennedy and Michael Enright. But if you weren't able to make it to la belle province, fear not: CBC Books and Canada Writes brought you the best of the Fest with tons of exclusive live coverage, videos and more. (See below for our blog.)

What book kept you up all night? #allnightreads
Throughout the Fest, we asked Blue Met authors for the last book that kept them up all night and tweeted it with the hashtag #allnightreads. What's yours? Share it with us on Twitter!
