The perfect love scene

The perfect love scene: Vicki Essex

The DVD slid in easily, the mechanical whir firing her anticipation. She knew he’d been skeptical about sharing this most intimate of interests with her, but he’d eventually given in to her shy request.

Not that it took that much convincing.

Her grasp on his hand tightened as the opening credits began.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…

“You promise to stay awake?” she asked hopefully.

She dragged the popcorn bowl onto her lap and snuggled against him. “I love you,” she whispered.

He smiled roguishly down at her. “I know.”
