CBC Short Story Prize

2014 CBC Short Story Prize longlist announced

The next winner of the CBC Short Story Prize will be found among the list of 36 writers below. 

Some names are familiar to us, while others are new discoveries. Each one has an equal shot of winning the Grand Prize: $6,000 from the Canada Council for the Arts, publication in Air Canada's enRoute magazine, and a two week writing residency at The Banff Centre.
