Top 20 BloodLines stories

We asked you to comb through the pages of your family scrapbooks and share with us the remarkable moments, memories and lives of those to whom you are related by blood.

We were impressed by the range of stories. There were tales from the war, of making the crossing to Canada. There were portraits of loved ones who’ve been lost, brief introductions to those who continue to surprise. And there were anecdotes from some of the happiest times, and memories from some of the saddest.

Thank you, everyone, for sharing your family stories with us.

Our two readers, Elspeth Cameron and Andrew Steinmetz, had the difficult task of reading the over 800 stories and narrowing them down to this shortlist of 20. It wasn’t an easy task, and we thank them for their hard work.

So please read and share these wonderful stories, and let us know what you think by leaving your comments in the section below.
