We're also inviting you to an exclusive Canada Writes reception following the panel discussion. The event will be hosted by CBC’s Shelagh Rogers and Radio-Canada’s Kevin Sweet, who will present awards to James Scoles and French-language winner Louise Gagnon. Attendees will have the chance to hear short readings from both winners.

Copies of the books up for this year's Scotiabank Giller Prize, as well as the English and French collections up for this years' Governor General's Literary Award for Poetry will be up for grabs. The reception begins at 5 pm at the York Quay Centre (235 Queens Quay West).

Later that night we also invite you to join us at the CBC@IFOA Trivia Night. Each team will be paired with an IFOA author upon arrival. The event starts at 9 pm, but you need to register beforehand. For more details, click here.

If you don't live in Toronto and would still like to follow along, we will be live tweeting the events! You can hang out with us all day on Twitter by following us at @cbcbooks

See you Saturday!
