Broken Social Scene Story Contest Finalists

A shout out to our writing community across the country:  check out the finalists for House of Anansi's Broken Social Scene Story Contest. See any familiar names?

House of Anansi announced the 13 finalists for their Broken Social Scene Story Contest this morning. The contest was a collaboration with the record label Arts & Crafts

The challenge? To use a song title from the Canadian indie rock band Broken Social Scene’s first album You Forgot It In People as either the title or theme of a short story.

The top thirteen short stories will be published as an eBook, The Broken Social Scene Story Project: Short Works Inspired by You Forgot It In People, on May 30, 2013. The top three prizewinners will also be announced on May 30th.
