Seusstivus Holiday Twitter Challenge All-Stars: Part 1

We received more than a thousand entries for our Seusstivus Twitter Challenge. A big thank you to CANSCAIP readers Carol-Ann HoyteHelaine BeckerMarty Chan and Lena Coakley for helping us collect and read them all.

We asked you to describe your holiday experience in a Dr. Seuss-inspirited Tweet, and you did not disappoint. There was lots overeating (and overdrinking), green Christmases, falling trees, clumsy pets and so much eggnog!

Our judge Jonathan Goldstein is now working hard to pick the winner, whom we will announce on Friday, December 21. In the meantime, we're rolling out some of the All-Stars as chosen by our intrepid CANSCAIP readers.

If your Tweet is not here, don’t worry - it doesn’t mean you are not being considered for the prize. This is only a small selection of some of our favourites.

Stay tuned for the big reveal of our winner on December 21!

And be sure to tune in on Christmas Day to the CBC/McGill production of "How The Grinch Stole Christmas", starring Jonathan Goldstein. The concert will be broadcast at 1 p.m. (1:30 NT) on CBC Radio One and at 3 p.m. (3:30 NT) on CBC Radio 2. It will also be available for download as a free podcast from Dec. 24 to Jan. 6 on the CBC/McGill website.
