Creative Nonfiction Prize ceremony at Banff
Canada Writes is excited to be bringing the CBC Literary Prizes out West this summer. To highlight our new partnership with The Banff Centre - which contributed a two-week writing residency to our list of prizes this year - the English and French winners will be celebrated at its Summer Arts Festival on July 26.
You can read the winner’s stories here:“Holy Bald-Headed” by Hilary Dean“Chez la Reine -- Les exiles” by Alexandre Mc Cabe
CBC Radio’s Russell Bowers will be on hand to introduce the winners at a public event that will also feature readings from the nine writers in The Banff Centre’s Literary Journalism program.
This special evening, which is hosted by Ian Brown, is open to the public and takes place on Thursday, July 26 at 7:30 p.m. at the Kinnear Centre.
