In conversation with Ron MacLean

The Canada Reads panelists are now busy plotting strategy and sizing up the strengths and weaknesses of their competition.

To give you some insight into what they're thinking and planning, in the weeks leading up to the debates we'll be presenting a podcast of producer Lindsay Michael's conversation with each panelist. The podcast will be posted every Friday.

Today's podcast features broadcaster and Hockey Night in Canada co-host Ron MacLean, who is representing the Prairies and North in Canada Reads: Turf Wars. He's backing The Age of Hope by David Bergen. Ron was a little reluctant to let us in on the strategy he'll adopt in the debates. But he did open up about why he chose The Age of Hope, and how his experience on Coach's Corner will come in handy.
