In conversation with Jay Baruchel

The Canada Reads panelists are now busy plotting strategy and sizing up the strengths and weaknesses of their competition.
To give you some insight into what they're thinking and planning, in the weeks leading up to the debates we'll be presenting a podcast of producer Lindsay Michael's conversation with each panelist. The podcast will be posted every Friday.

Today's podcast features actor Jay Baruchel who is representing Quebec in Canada Reads: Turf Wars. He's championing Two Solitudes by Hugh MacLennan. He talks about why he feels a personal connection to the 1945 book, his upbringing in Montreal, and his days on his school's debating team.
