Canada Reads True Stories: Submit Your Recommendation

Which title would you like to see battle it out in Canada Reads: True Stories?

The book must be in print and must be a great story. Essay collections are not eligible. Think The Tiger by John Vaillant, not The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell. We're looking for the best memoirs, biographies and literary non-fiction this country has to offer!

It's easy to have your say. Simply suggest the book you want to see on Canada Reads this year and give a brief (250 words or less) explanation as to why it would make a great Canada Reads contender. The 40 books with the most support will be named the Canada Reads: True Stories Top 40. An explanation of our process can be found here.

Submitting a recommendation automatically makes you eligible for some great prizes. Every week, we will do a random draw from the entries for one $50 Chapters Indigo gift certificate. When the recommendations close on October 14, we will hold a draw from all the entries submitted for the grand prize: a trip for two to see the final Canada Reads debate live in Toronto. The lucky winner and their guest will receive airfare and two nights' accommodation. The rules and regulations can be found here.
