From Monday, July 9 to Friday, July 20 CBC Radio One aired an abridged version of Canada Reads 2012 winner, Something Fierce: Memoirs of a Revolutionary Daughter, read by author Carmen Aguirre, as part of The Soundbox summer series.

The Soundbox is a 10-minute long summer program, airing weeknights at 8:50 p.m. (half an hour later in Nfld and Labrador). Throughout the summer, the show will present a variety of storytelling and documentary pieces.

But if you missed the radio readings, don't worry! CBC Books is posting the complete reading online, a total of 20 episodes, which take listeners on the wild ride that is Aguirre's childhood and youth in training as a revolutionary.

Again, here's how to listen:

On the web: At 10 a.m. ET a new episode will be posted for streaming on CBC Books. The audio will be added each day to this post at the bottom or check out the Canada Reads podcast page to download the .mp3 version of the day's episode.

On iTunes: You can subscribe to Canada Reads through iTunes so you won't miss a single episode.
