Our first Perfect Pairings winner

While the panelists decide which title to defend in this year's battle of the books, we are giving away a complete set of the Canada Reads: True Stories Top 10 every week.

To enter, all you have to do is comment on this post, telling us which Canadian personality should defend one of the Top 10 books and why! We're drawing a winner every Monday until November 23, so you have more chances to win.

Our first perfect pairings winner is TMLVLA. They think that Wayne Gretzky is perfect to defend Ken Dryden's The Game. Here's why:

"I would like to see Wayne Gretzky defend Ken Dryden's The Game. As a fellow hockey player I think that Gretzky would do a wonderful job reminding Canadians why we love hockey, whether we cheer for the Canadiens, the Oilers, the Canucks, the Sens, the Flames or the Leafs."

Do you agree with TMLVLA? Enter our "perfect pairings" contest for a chance to win a complete set of the Canada Reads: True Stories Top 10! The contest closes on midnight, ET on Sunday, November 19. The complete rules and regulations are here. Good luck!
